David P. Singer, M.D. has been in practice since 2006 and co-founded Plastic Surgical Specialists, PLLC in July 2024. Dr. Singer is a board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in general plastic and reconstructive surgery. His specialties include skin malignancies and lesions, general reconstruction, complex hand surgery, and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Singer graduated from Baylor University and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed a combined residency in general and plastic surgery at Brown University and furthered his training with a fellowship in Breast Microsurgery at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Singer also served as a visiting scholar in microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, one of the world’s largest centers for microsurgery. He has a particular interest and expertise in breast reconstruction, with advanced training that allows him to offer patients various options beyond traditional implant-based techniques following mastectomy.
Dr. Singer is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His career has earned him several distinctions, including being recognized as a Top Doc/Rising Star in Philadelphia Magazine and being named a Top Doctor in Plastic Surgery by both Philadelphia Magazine and Main Line Today in 2019.
